This year our annual patronal Feast of the Elevation of the Holy Cross (Sept. 14) will happen on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 6, 11:00am–3:00pm at Cathedral Gardens, 6480 Elibank Dr. Elkridge, MD 21075.
A hot grill will be ready at 11:00, so bring your favorite meats to grill and a dish to share. The parish will provide buns, condiments, plates, and utensils. The picnic will be rain or shine and we hope to see you all there!
Tips for a Terrific Time at the Picnic
As always, visitors are welcome! No need to bring anything! Be our guest!
Parishioners, don't forget to bring the meat you want to grill and a side dish to share (cookouts are no fun without food). The grill will be hot from 11:00–2:00.
There might be games that may involve water; so, have a change of clothes for the kids and a towel or two to make the ride home more pleasant.
Water and iced tea/lemonade will be provided. You are welcome to bring other drinks you prefer.
There are picnic tables under the pavilion. Many like to bring more comfortable lawn chairs to relax in.
Sunscreen and bug spray are good to have on hand.
