Our Bookstore
The Holy Cross Bookstore strives to provide access to quality Orthodox materials to the community at large. We feature a large selection of books, icons and music (both liturgical and non-liturgical). The bookstore is generally available after weekend services. Other times may be arranged by contacting the bookstore manager.
On-line we provide direct sales of autographed copies of Khouria Frederica Mathewes-Green’s books, parishoner Terry Mattingly’s new book, Pop Goes Religion, and the Holy Cross Choir’s CD. These books can be paid for through our PayPal account and are shipped directly from the bookstore.
Additionally, we provide a virtual bookstore, which allows you to browse our shelves, review and order the books on-line from Amazon.com®. The bookstore receives a small percentage of your purchase through the Amazon Associates program*.

Music
The bookstore carries music from many different sources.
- You can support an Orthodox Seminarian by ordering from St. Romanos Records, the web-site of Deacon Peter Jon Gillquist. This site features Peter Jon’s music as well as that of other non-liturgical Orthodox musicians and some liturgical music.
- St. Vladimir’s seminary carries some excellent liturgical favorites.
- Conciliar Press also carries a wide selection of music.
We maintain a variety of CDs in the parish bookstore, but if you’re purchasing online we encourage you to purchase directly from the suppliers.
Icons
The bookstore generally carries icons from two suppliers:
- St. Isaac of Syria Skete in Boscobel, WI which supplies our icons and devotional items and
- Holy Transfiguration Monastery in Brookline, MA which supplies our incense
