Overview
Holy Cross seeks to equip its parishioners to participate in the life of the Church and practice the metanoia prescribed by the Church in a number of ways, not the least of which is through Adult Education.
Currently, there are three main components to this ministry:
- short instruction and discussion of various topics about twice a month during Coffee Hour on Sundays; see Resources below for study materials;
- monthly Bible Study at the home of Ben Anderson (see calendar);
- a series of classes —an Introduction to Orthodoxy for inquirers, catechumens and Orthodox alike—each Saturday afternoon in February from 4:00-5:30 PM. Details here. The current series, taught mainly by Fr. Gregory but including other knowledgeable members of the congregation, is .
Adult Education ministry at Holy Cross is facilitated by Subdeacon Ephraim Roseland and Reader Ben Anderson under the spiritual direction of Father Gregory.
