Georgian Supra Fund-Raiser
A Georgian "Supra!" is being held Saturday, May 9th to help college students raise money for their trip to the Republic of Georgia this summer where they will work to establish a college similar to St. John's College in Annapolis, MD.
Featuring Georgian food and a series of traditional toasts to God, family, love, the homeland, and more! Guests are invited to bring a song or poetry to share with the group (musical instruments are allowed). The toasts are led by an elected "Tamada" or toastmaster, and everyone is welcome to "continue the toast", share insights, or just tell a story relating to the topic at hand. This is a beautiful tradition, and we hope every guest will come away feeling blessed!
Non-alcoholic drinks will be provided for those who prefer not to drink wine.
