An Evening with Fr Peter Gillquist
The long-awaited Orthodox Study Bible (New and complete Old Testament) is here. Bring yours on Sunday evening, March 2nd, at 6:00pm and sit down with Father Peter Gillquist (OSB NT Project Director and Scripture teacher/ evangelist) as he opens to us the riches of this wonderful new spiritual res ource. He'll explain why we Orthodox use the Septuagint/Greek Old Testament text to translate from and why we have books that other English translations don't have. He'll also introduce us to the several new features in this edition, suggest ways to use the Bible in our spiritual lives, and answer any questions that you might have.
