Vespers and OCF Presentation

A Pan-Orthodox Vespers will be held Friday, April 27th in memory of the victims of the Virginia Tech shootings. The service will be held at St. Mary Orthodox Church in Hunt Valley (directions) and will begin at 6:30pm.
Following the vespers, Fr. Peter Gillquist, chairman of Orthodox Christian Fellowship (OCF), will give a special presentation "Protecting our Students on Campus: the vital role and ministry of OCF." This presentation and fundraising effort will highlight the important role that the OCF college ministry can play in the lives of our college students. Light appetizers and drinks will be provided. Archpriest Peter E. Gillquist is a former evangelist with Campus Crusade for Christ who led the Evangelical Orthodox Church in its mass conversion to the Orthodox Church. He currently serves as the Director of the Department of Missions and Evangelism for the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese. Fr. Peter served as the project director for the Orthodox Study Bible, first published in 1993.
