for Orthodox Youth and their Parents
College Day will be held on Frebruary 10 from 9am to 1pm, and seeks to answer the questions:
- What can young adults expect when they go off to college?
- What tools do young adults need in order to defend their faith on today's college campuses?
- How can young adults maintain their religious and spiritual engagement once they leave home?
- What can parents do to facilitate their young adult's smooth spiritual transition to the world-at-large?
Possible speakers may include:
- Terry Mattingly— Senior Fellow and Director, Washington Journalism Center, Council of Christian Colleges and Universities; Former Associate Professor, Media and Religion
- Fr. Elias Yelovich— B. A., M. Div., M. I. S.; Assistant Professor, Library Science at Mount St. Mary's University; Pastor, Mission of Carroll County, MD, Antiochian Archdiocese of North America.
- Subdeacon Robert Miclean— M. Div., M. A., B. A.; College Minister, Orthodox Christian Fellowship at St. John's College and the U.S. Naval Academy Chapters
Registration
Advanced registration is $15 per person, or $25 a pair and includes a continental breakfast and snacks. Please print and fill out the registration form and mail with your check to:
